It's just 4 easy steps to your optimized resume:
- Order: Select and purchase your services online.
- Submit Information: After the checkout, you will be prompted to submit your relevant information and upload your documents.
- Consultation: HR Magnet will review the information and discuss any clarifying details over e-mail. If you have purchased a consultation appointment, you will be e-mailed to schedule an appointment.
- Document Delivery: You will receive the documents by e-mail within 5 business days (or 1 business day for rush service). You can request free, unlimited revisions within 5 business days of ordering.
FAQ
What is ATS and how is it used by employers?
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software screens job applications and resumes for select keywords and phrase. These are usually selected by the hiring manager, while others may match what is on the job poster. A higher match will make it more likely for you to be selected for an interview.
What if I have little/no job experience?
You can create a resume with volunteer experience, projects, unpaid work, interesting school assignments. If you have worked in a different industry, it is still worth adding. Some of these accomplishments can highlight transferrable skills which may be valuable to employers.
Do I need a cover letter?
It depends. The cover letter is commonly expected in professional level jobs. The job poster may specify that it is / is not required. If it does not specify, then it is still a good practice to have one. Hiring managers use cover letters to determine which of the last few candidates gets the job.
How are practice interviews conducted?
We will schedule an interview via videoconference.
Fulfillment would be considered when an appointment invitation is sent. No refunds are provided for no shows or lateness.
Do I need to have a LinkedIn / GitHub?
No, it is not required. It is industry-specific. LinkedIn is the social media website for networking, however, not all industries are active on LinkedIn. For those in tech or design, a portfolio is the best way to market yourself. This can be done on your own website or GitHub.
What is an elevator pitch?
Imagine you bump into a hiring manager in the elevator and you only have 20 seconds to say something. That's your opportunity to pitch a sentence or two about yourself so that they will remember you!
How does the unlimited revisions work?
Unlimited revisions apply to the written content, for the duration of the delivery period only (3 business days). Revisions to the designs are a custom service and will require a service charge.
